Introduction

This bike is a creation out of my experiences and from what I have learned.  It is mix of components from various manufacturers as well as components at various performance levels.

FRAME

  • Material: Custom butted 4130 CrMo, Tange Eccentric tubes

  • Sizes: frame available in 3 frame sizes (16”, 17.5” & 19.5”)

  • Recommended fork travel: 130-150mm

  • Head tube: integrated tapered IS42/IS52

  • Fork compatibility: fits forks with standard 1 1/8” or tapered 1.5 - 1 1/8” steerer tubes

  • Head tube length: S size: 105mm, M size: 115mm, L: 125mm

  • BB: threaded 73mm

  • Biggest chainring: BOOST only up to 32t

  • Front derailleur: not compatible

  • Seat post: 31.6 / seat clamp: 34.9

  • Max seat post insertion: 270mm (S), 300mm (M & L)

  • Cable routing: stealth cable route with rubber grommets in seat tube for dropper post

  • Tires: designed to fit 29" but works also with 27.5” wheels with tires up to 3.0"

  • Maximum tire size recommended: 29 x 2.5", 27.5 x 3.0”

  • Disc brake: post mount disc brake mount, max rotor size: up to 185mm

  • Hub spacing: 148x12, NS axle included

  • Weight: 2.59kg (M size, w/o axle)

Note on sizing: we recommend the S size for riders up to 172cm, M size for 170 – 182cm and the L size for riders over 180cm.

CHAINRING
Even though this is a boost frame, a 6mm (non-boost chainring) has a better chainline.  Largest chainring possible without hitting the chainstay is a 30T
